Chime (with Speedpaint) by JAYWlNG Chime (with Speedpaint) by JAYWlNG
I felt like making a speedpaint, so here you go!
Video

Sorry for weird song choice that doesn't really fit, that was the longest song I knew (I obviously don't listen to american songs ever)

So um, yeah. CELL SHADING FTW

I tried recording it like 4 times, the first 3 I gave up and restarted each time. So yeah.

This is really lovely. ;u; You draw so well.

May I ask how you do the shading? Is is a special brush that you use or just the appropriate colours?

also, how did you make the initially black parts of the eyes green and blue?

In this particular drawing, I took the default hard brush and drew the shading on layers set on multiply (which basically darken the layers under by the color you're using).

I'm thinking you're talking about the lineart, so I turned transparency lock on (which in PS is a small checkerboard) and then colored. Transparency lock doesn't allow you to color on top of anything that was initially transparent.

Ah okay, so you use the same color as that of what you're shading?

Ah, okay. In which window is the transparency lock option?

Basically. In this picture, I used a lavender color.

If I'm not remembering incorrectly, it's on the layers panel, near the top of it.

I used to use 2000x2000, but now it's dropped down to 500x500.
