UmThis is probably a ridiculously common topic by now, but it's common for a reason and truly should be heard.
Don't undervalue your art. Sure, you may be a novice, but that does not mean you get to sell your art for literal pennies.
The minimum wage in the US is $7.25. That means you should technically be paid about $7 for every hour of work you do. And keep in mind, $7.25 is extremely low; you can't make a living that way at all. I'd say the minimum wage you'd have to get to be able to make a living is $15, probably enough to pay for an apartment and ramen noodle meals.
But my art isn't damn worth it! THEN DON'T SELL COMMISSIONS. Really, if you think your art is so bad that you can't put a decent price on your art, then why are you doing it in the first place? I'm aware that I do appear somewhat spastic online, with my extensive (and maybe even ridiculous) use of emoticons as well as frenzied typing and tons of repeated phrases. Sometimes I feel like a spastic idiot who should have her head split open with a machete just to stop the unnatural cheer. No one is ridiculously cheerful and passionate 24/7. Except maybe Pinkie Pie. But even she needs a break.
Somewhere along the way on my time in dA, I've picked up and learnt that it was the language that speaks "friendly" and "approachable", and it helped you to communicate with fellow people who were also friendly and approachable.
Because you're online, it's difficult to accurately express your feelings and to accurately understand someone. So the best way to do this is to add emoticons to express them. This often...intensifies everything and makes it seem somewhat more.

Beaten the shit out of DA gallery CSS! :PSo, I had been coding a skin for my gallery folders 2 days back and guess what!!! I've finally beaten the shit out of DA gallery CSS.

After figuring out over 40+ unique classes in the gallery CSS, I finally found out that coding a gallery CSS is much tougher than coding a journal CSS. The most annoying part is that you can't just write the code and preview it . You need to save each time you make changes to see the result! Hey, deviantART! You need to give a preview option for the gallery CSS too!

Also, after coding for about 7-8hours to perfect the results particularly for the thumbs alignment and hover effects I failed to get the alignment which I wanted for the deviation thumbnails. DA! Your style of justifying the space for the thumbnails is bad! very very bad!!!!!

Anyways, I am done with my coding now and I'm quite happy with result.

Rebooting...Hi everyone, I have some pretty big news for you all!
Over the past couple of years, Eevee Party 3 has been started and then dropped over and over again, resulting in much disappointment for everyone.
We had Eevee Party "2.5" which was never finished, and now it would seem that even Asi has dropped the project.
But fear not, it looks as if we finally have an animator! I personally don't believe this person will let us down a fourth time. They're pretty chill, I think.
And since this person is actually online regularly, more updates will be posted than ever, keeping you all in the loop!
The good news is, the project will be entirely rebooted, and I really think you're all going to like it!
Planning and storyboarding will begin sometime next month, after new characters have been chosen for the party.
That means that character try-outs will be opening back up, and you can once again have a chance to get your character entered in the flash!

this entry was well-placed. Dawn and shadow close, showing how their relationship is, that Dawn isn't all bad. the eerie glow from Indi's tail was nice. And spooky Kite in the background shows part of what is troubling them.

I LOVE the text. Seriously c: and you included Boss as well, which shows that Damian and Kite are not the most powerful things out there. The emotion, especially from Shadow, was captured nicely.
